A family business, 15 years in

Solid Landscaping is a family-owned design-build landscaping company that has been building driveways, walls and gardens for 15 years. We work out of the Mississauga–Etobicoke border, and we work across Mississauga, Etobicoke, Toronto, Oakville and the wider GTA.

The same faces, start to finish

The people who measure your yard and write your quote are the same people who dig, build and walk the finished job with you. There's no sales team in between. The one exception is a specialist add-on like a heated driveway, which our heating partner installs while we run the job. That keeps the details that matter, like base depth, drainage and where the water goes, in the same hands from the first visit to the last paver.

We build the part you never see

Most landscaping fails underground. A driveway sinks because the base was too thin; a retaining wall leans because nothing let the water out from behind it; a new lawn dies at the seams because it was rolled over old problems. Our work is built around getting that hidden part right: excavating to depth, compacting gravel in lifts, putting clear stone and a drain behind every wall, and grading soil away from the house.

Our own equipment

We run our own equipment, including a Bobcat mini track loader, a box truck and a dump trailer. Owning it means we schedule on our own timeline instead of waiting on rentals, and we can work on tight suburban lots without tearing up the lawn next door.

See it before we build it

For bigger projects we can prepare a design concept render of your own property, so you can see the driveway, walls or planting before any digging starts. Renders are concepts, clearly labelled as such, and the final build is confirmed on site.

We publish typical GTA price ranges on every service page because you should know roughly what a project costs before you call. Every job still gets a free on-site visit and a written, itemized quote, so you can compare it properly with anyone else's.
